Pakistan Monday released 141 more Indian fishermen as the number of freed Indian fishermen from Pakistani jails since August 2 has reached to 446. Still 128 prisoners said to be imprisoned at various jails....

Suicide bomber kills 17 persons including 9 cops

LAKI MARWAT:
Seventeen people including children and nine policemen have been killed and thirty nine others sustained serious injuries as a result of suicide bomb attack at a police station in Laki Marwat city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa here on Monday.
According to police sources, an alleged bomber rammed his explosive-packed vehicle into the backside wall of Laki City Police Station, destroying a part of the premises and some other nearby buildings including Laki City Hospital. Severe volley of gunshots were rung following the suicide attack at the site. At least 45 police personnel were present at the police station at the time of blast....

Sindh demands Rs 450 billion from Federation for rehabilitation

KARACHI:
Sindh government in a special session of its cabinet under President Asif Ali Zardari and Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani has demanded Rs 450 billion aids from the federation for meeting damages struck by flooding.
Sindh cabinet met in a special session at chief minister house Karachi on Sunday; the president and PM jointly chaired the meeting. Federal Information and Interior ministers also attended the meeting. It had been agreed to decide for extending Eid Package to the affectees in the meeting of Common Interest Council (CIC) scheduled today (Monday)....
